No Shortage of Anecdotes

The good thing about having a bunch of munchkins running around is they create a vast amount of stories and ideas to write about it.  After a few posts, my fear was that I would eventually run of topics to write about.......silly fear.  Also by sharing via this format, I'm already seeing a positive therapeutic side to it.  Instead of an immediate annoyance to some of their behaviour and schemes, I find myself laughing a little more knowing I have material to talk about.

For example, this morning I jotted a couple of notes down before heading to work as possible ideas.  One note was Cheerios, Cheerios.  The story behind that is that Chloe gets very excited when it is time for her to eat.  She literally shakes with excitement and starts chanting "yummy, yummy".  This morning when I asked if she would like Cheerios for breakfast, she broke into a little dance singing, "Cheerios, Cheerios".  A second note says Lawson pees his bed.  I think we can count on one hand the number of times we had to change the 3 girls sheets after waking up.  There is a definite difference between boys and girls.  The Boy wakes up every morning in his own filth and a big smile on his face.

Lily wins the prize of the day though.  After we attended Kindergarten Roundup to sign Lily for next year (hard to believe she is going into Kindergarten, but I'll save that for another day) we grabbed dinner to take home for ease of clean up as I would be leaving to go to Aggie Muster.  As I was opening the garage, our next door neighbor's little boy, Jake, drove up in his automated Jeep asking where Lily is.  I told him she is finishing dinner but he was welcome to come in or she would be out shortly to play.  According to Kasey they played in the back yard and I guess Lily was tearing some of the padding off the trampoline which had already started to come loose.  Once Jake got home, he informed his mother they had made a mess of the trampoline, but that Lily was the main culprit.  Jake's mom felt bad and brought him over to apologize for tearing up the trampoline.  Meanwhile, Kasey is fighting the twins trying to get them to go to bed and suddenly realizes that Jake and Sarah are in the house.  She calls out from upstairs and tells Sarah don't worry about it, it was already torn up and Jake is not to blame.  A question pops into Kasey's mind.......how did Sarah and Jake get into the house?  The more important question came next.......why is Lily answering the door completely and totally stark naked?

Needless to say, Kasey had to have a talk with Lily about not answering the door by herself, and secondly about when it is appropriate and not appropriate to walk around without a stitch of clothing on.

Wonder what tomorrow will bring?  Wonder what conversation Jake and his parents had tonight??????
